International Aboriginal Day

We want to acknowledge and show our appreciation that we are on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam People.

We thank the Musqueam People and their ancestors for the land that today holds Creative Minds Early Learning Centre.

We made a delicious berry pudding. The recipe we used was for Saskatoon Berry Pudding, but we used the berries we found in Pacific Spirit Park, Huckleberries and Salmon Berries.

We also made Fried Bannock.

Everyone had a chance to help in preparing our food.

We figured out how to cook them 'just right'.
